The house
Selina Miller is a New York house making modern classics for men and women.
That's the whole idea, and it's rarer than it sounds. Most labels do one side of the wardrobe properly and treat the other as an afterthought — a men's line bolted onto a womenswear brand, or a small women's capsule run to widen the catalog. We started the other way round: one point of view, applied evenly, so two people can dress from the same house and neither is settling for the leftovers.
What we make
A small collection, made properly. Outerwear, shirting, knitwear, tailoring, trousers and denim — the pieces that carry a wardrobe rather than decorate it.
We don't work to a trend cycle. A piece goes in when it earns its place and stays while it works, which means the jacket you buy this autumn still sits alongside what we make next autumn. There's no advantage to you in a house releasing forty new things a month, so we don't.
How we choose
We choose the cloth before we design the piece.
The order matters. A shape drawn first and fabricked later comes out compromised — the drape is wrong, the weight is wrong, and it looks tired after four wears. So we start with the material. Wool that keeps its shape. Cotton that improves with washing. Leather that softens instead of cracking. The shape follows what the cloth wants to do.
It's a slower way to build a collection. It's also why these pieces are still in rotation years later.
How it should fit
We cut for adults.
Clean through the shoulder, easy through the body, never tight. Fits are graded across every size rather than scaled up from a single sample and hoped for. And we publish the numbers — every product page carries a full measurement table, the model's height, and the size they're wearing. Guessing is how a good piece ends up going back.
How we're building it
Designed in New York, produced with manufacturing partners chosen for what they're genuinely good at.
We're a young house, and we'd rather grow slowly and get it right: thirty days to change your mind, a real person who answers within a business day, and no surprises between the photograph and the parcel.
